According to media reports, while attending Karan Johar’s popular talk show Coffee With Karan in 2013, Aamir Khan, while talking to Salman about his awkwardness, revealed that his first impression of Salman was not very good.
Aamir Khan said that my experience of working with Salman Khan in ‘Andaz Apna Apna’ was very bad. I did not like him at all.
I found him rude and careless while after working with him I just wanted to stay away from Salman.

However, Aamir Khan later admitted in the same show that Salman Khan reconnected with him in 2002 when he was having a difficult time due to separation from his first wife Reena Dutt.
Aamir revealed that he and Salman later talked to each other a lot. And that’s how our true friendship began.

Aamir khan added that Salman came into my life at a time when I was going through my most difficult time. And after them, our friendship grew stronger and stronger.
