We’re hearing that children are among the casualties. Understandably shoppers were completely panicked their videos on social media showed people running from stores as the gunfire rang out in the background.
Others described having to duck for cover wherever they happen to be we do have some aerial video to show you of the chaotic scene this afternoon.
Allen Premium Outlets Mall Shooting – Texas Suspect Name:
This is around 3.30 at this Allen Texas outlet mall. It’s about 20 miles north of Dallas. There was a press conference not too long ago.
The city’s police chief said,
an officer happened to be at the mall on another call when he heard gunshots, he ran toward the sound of the gunshots engaged the suspect and shot and killed him.
Officials confirm that 9 victims were taken to local hospitals. We don’t yet know exactly how many people were injured or killed, we do know that the shooter acted alone.
And was found dead at the scene video footage and photos from local media outlets show police officers, hurrying shoppers out of the mall with squad cars and emergency vehicles parked at the entryways.

Witnesses have said that the shooter was dressed in tactical gear and Governor Greg Abbott released a statement not too long ago extending his condolences to everyone involved.
He says he’s working with state and local leadership to make sure that resources are deployed quickly and this is obviously a developing active situation that we’re going to continue to follow.
